Improve Your Pool Shooting Stance - The 60-Degree Rule

If you wish to improve your shooting stance in your pool game then you must learn how to improve your strike and hit the cue ball for a perfect shot. My rule is simply called the 60-degree rule. This rule can offer you great help in improving your pool shoot. You need to work on your heels and lock the shooting arm. My 60 degree rule would truly help you to acquire a very stable and powerful shot which would make all your playing pals shout in wonder. They would be wondering how you dared to make such a beautiful shot where you just played regular like them.

This 60 degree rule of mine is to improve your pool shooting stance is for those who are right handed pool shooter. For the two feet in my stance of shooting, you work to make a basic 60 degree angle between your feet to meet the 60 degree rule of your pool. You must be wondering why it is necessary to arrange the feet in 60 degree angle. And what the feet position has to do with a perfect shooting stance.

Well if you set your feet onto 60 degree it helps to ensure that your shoulder of shooting arm that is the right arm stays stable and in place throughout the classic pool stroke. A slight change in angle can destroy the shoot and displace the balls in wrong directions favorable for your opponent to hit them easily. When your arm is stable you can make a pendulum shot on the cue ball. The firm stability of your shoulder would not allow your hand to move until the shot is hit.

You need to point your left foot out, toes should be approximately toward the object ball that you aim to hit with the cue ball, as you step forward the right foot would tend to flare out to the right to balance your weight and the toe turns almost perpendicular beneath the line of the cue stick along the shot line,

If you are sure to stick to this 60 degree rule to improve your pool shooting stance, be sure that you would make an effortless swift stroke via placement of feet in the right directions and right position. This is a sure shot winning position for you to hit and scatter the balls in right direction favorable to your positions for further shoots.

At the very first instance you won’t be able to master the art of this 60 degree rule to improve your pool shooting stance. Practice brings in the best of results. You need to practice it again and again till you master yourself in this art and then go for the game with your pals to surprise them with such a fine shot. While you practice this position you may find one or two thing odd such as positioning the non shooting side foot towards the object ball, but as you practice it becomes normal for you to balance and make a swift shot.
