At times while you are playing pool it happens that you come across a danger situation when the ball is a position very near the pocket but there is obstacle in front of it. The little gap has to be utilized properly so that the hit ball straightens to the pocket and make you a win. When you need to accomplish such a Herculean task you need to strike with tight center stroke. This is nothing unusual but a stroke which you make on the cue ball with complete perfection and balance of your body and the cue stick so that the ball you wish to hit rolls down the pocket and makes no disgusting effect on the mind of the player.
The tight stroke shot is very easy and a beginner can do it quite easily if you wish for it. The only thing that is requires is to know how. The tight center stroke is indeed a terrific stroke on the ball which works close to the cue ball to shot it direct to the position where you wish to make it through. If you have a ball close to pocket with an obstacle in front but has enough space to draw it to the pocket, then you should do it perfectly. You cannot make an illegal step to hit the ball close to the pocket. Hence to avoid illegal strike to the ball you want to pocket you need to draw your hand and bridge it in a style to take a perfect shot.
Hitting the Ball: The first step of you tight center stroke is to place your left hand properly on the board. That is you place the bridge hand quite close to the cue ball.
